I’m a 4th generation Montanan, born and raised on my family’s ranch in Cascade. Growing up in a small town taught me the values of hard work, faith, family, and looking out for the community. I’m a proud graduate of Cascade high school, and Cascade will always be home.
My wife Kasey and I are small business owners, and together we own Adventurous Learning place, an early education facility dedicated to serving local families and investing in the next generation.
I’ve had the privilege of coaching wrestling at Simms, Belt, Great Falls High and Cascade High School for 23 years and was honored to be named Montana Coach of the Year by the MCA in 2017 for winning the class C state Championship in Cascade. In 2013, I competed in the FILA (UWW currently) Veterans (not to be confused with military service) World Championship in Sarajevo, Bosnia at 58 kg and brought home a bronze medal. Wrestling has always been about discipline, grit, and representing your community with pride, I will bring that mentality with me to the House.
Family is everything to me. Kasey and I have been married 23 years this August, and we have 2 amazing daughters, Kyleigh (21) and Brooke (19), a wonderful son-in-law, D’angelo Haney, who is serving our country in the Army and currently stationed in Germany, and two beautiful granddaughters, Makana 3 and Maraiah recently joined the family.
I’m proud of my roots, proud of my family, and proud to call Montana home.
